A new baby calls for a card that feels like a little adventure, and this one delivers with a sweeping safari scene of elephants, lions, zebras, and a long-necked giraffe wandering across the page, all rendered in soft color. Seedlings tucks the greeting, "You've got one lucky baby," into the menagerie in warm copper foil, a nice glint against the illustrated grasses and trees. The card is blank inside for your own note, and it arrives with a planted touch of its own: the envelope is made from seed paper embedded with wildflower seeds, so once the card has done its job, the envelope can go into the ground and bloom. A sweet way to welcome someone new, with a little extra life built right in.
