"Bou Enogu" is a traditional Japanese paint form, translating to "Stick Paint." It has been used in Japanese history for a long time, with its origins dating back to the late Edo Period (1603-1868) for Ukiyo-e paintings. The paints are created by kneading pigments and glue and shaping them into sticks. To use, simply add a small amount of water to a plate or bowl and dissolve the ink by gently rubbing the tip onto the water until you achieve your desired consistency.
