Designed by Nendo, this small glue stick trades the usual round barrel for a square one, so the stick sits flat against a desk instead of rolling away, and the glue itself comes out in a matching square shape that reaches into corners and along straight edges with more control than a rounded tip allows.
Kokuyo, the Japanese stationery maker founded in 1905, worked with Nendo to give its everyday adhesives a quieter, more considered form. The cap seals airtight to keep the glue from drying out between uses, and it opens with a simple 360-degree twist, so applying a thin, even layer to paper, photos, or light craft materials feels less like a chore and more like a small pleasure.
