Kaweco fills these cartridges with Sunrise Orange, a shading ink that leans warm and glows more the more ink you lay down, so the color shifts subtly across a page rather than sitting flat. It slips into any Kaweco cartridge pen, along with other pens that take the short international standard.
The company has been making pens in Heidelberg since 1883, and its cartridges are built to the same standard that fits most of its own lineup, including the Sport, so a box like this is worth keeping on hand for refills.
