These Palm Green cartridges are made by Kaweco, a German pen brand whose roots go back to the Heidelberger Federhalterfabrik, founded in 1883. The ink itself writes a fresh, true green with some shading and a bit of silvery sheen in broader nibs, and it flows smoothly on most papers, running a touch scratchier on cheaper stock and nicely on heavier, smoother sheets.
Each cartridge is a short international standard size, so while it fits Kaweco pens, it also works in most other fountain pens built to take the same standard cartridge. Simply unscrew the pen's grip, remove the spent cartridge, and click a fresh one into place.
