The cherry blossom comes through soft and delicate, while the sandalwood beneath it is creamy and woody, the kind of base note that lingers quietly on skin long after rinsing.
Essências de Portugal designs, creates and produces soaps, cork diffusers and candles, often drawing on local materials and artisans for its packaging and scents. The house traces its start to a soap commissioned for the centenary of the apparition of Our Lady of Fátima, a project that set the tone for the detailed, story-driven pieces it continues to make.
