Two orange beavers lean in to form a heart around a smiling baby beaver, printed in bold blue, purple, and gold against a white background. The design is simple enough to work for a new baby, an adoption, or any moment a family is growing, with "So Happy For You!" lettered above and below the scene.
It comes from Pier Six Press, a letterpress and risograph studio that has been part of the printmaking community in Bremerton, Washington since 2016. The riso process gives the ink its slightly textured, layered look, with small variations from print to print that the studio considers part of its charm.
The card is blank inside, so it is ready for your own note of congratulations.
