Ohto 2mm Mechanical Pencil

12.00

A mechanical pencil designed to look like the wooden pencils it replaces, and brilliantly - it's actually made from a wooden pencil! A real hexagonal cedar pencil barrel, drilled out to accommodate a mechanical pencil mechanism. There's a brass tip for the lead, and a traditional ferrule around the top of the pencil, with a replaceable eraser. OHTO was established in 1929 in Tokyo as a manufacturer of dyes and ink. In 1949, the company became famous after producing the world's first ballpoint pen with chrome ball and also the first 'Made in Japan' ballpoint pen.
