A ring of traditional Swedish Dala horses and snowflakes turns slowly above the flame of this tealight spinner by Pluto Design, with a red heart perched at the very top.
Light the tealight and the rising heat sets the gold blades spinning, carrying the horses and snowflakes around in a gentle circle that catches the light as it moves. It is a quiet bit of motion for a mantel, windowsill, or holiday table, and works just as well lit for atmosphere as left unlit as a decoration on its own.
Pluto Design was founded in Gothenburg, Sweden, in 1996, and these revolving tealight spinners have become the brand's signature line, reworking classic Scandinavian motifs like the Dala horse into small moving scenes for the home.
