Gry and Sif takes its name from the two Danish sisters who founded the company. Every piece starts as a design in Denmark, then travels to Nepal, where it is felted by hand using 100% natural wool, a craft practiced there for generations.
In 2009, Gry & Sif obtained Fair Trade certification from the World Fair Trade Organization, a recognition of the handwork behind pieces like this one.
