A cluster of tiny red-capped toadstools, each hand-felted with soft white polka dots and a pale stem, ready to hang from a branch, wreath, or the tree itself.
Every piece comes from Gry & Sif, the Danish design house whose felted creations are handmade in Nepal using pure wool. The designs are by two sisters who, as the brand tells it, fell for Nepal's craftsmanship on a backpacking trip and brought the idea home to Denmark, building what has become a long-running line of felt figures and seasonal pieces. Each mushroom carries a loop for hanging, and because every one is shaped by hand, small variations between them are part of the charm.
