Six crackers dressed for the holiday table, each wrapped in ivory paper with a scalloped gold foil border and cinched at both ends with gold cord. Green crepe paper holly leaves, dotted with chunky red glitter fabric berries, are tied on with metallic gold thread for a traditional, botanical topper.
Pull one open and you'll find a gold tissue paper party hat, a joke to read aloud, and a brooch to pin on for the rest of the evening. The brooches vary from cracker to cracker: some are cut from wood with gold foil detailing in reindeer, tree, and star shapes, while others, a crescent moon, a second reindeer, and a star, are finished in fine gold glitter fabric, each fitted with a gold tone pin.
Meri Meri has been designing for celebrations since 1985, when founder Meredithe Stuart-Smith sold her first range of glittery greeting cards to Bergdorf Goodman in New York City.
