There's something very funny about a shaggy white labradoodle standing stock still in a party crown, like she knows exactly how good she looks. This card, by E. Frances Paper, began as a watercolor painting and keeps all that loose, inky charm in her scruffy coat and pink-tinged cheeks, with a glittery blue "Happy Birthday" headband perched on top. The same crown reappears small on the back, a nice little echo for anyone who flips the card over.
Each E. Frances card starts as an original watercolor painting, then is printed in brilliant color on luxe, heavyweight paper, so the dog's fur has real texture and depth rather than flat color. Send it to the dog person in your life, or really anyone who'd rather get a fluffy birthday pup in the mail than another generic greeting.
