This Weeks planner from Hobonichi's Paper Series wears a cover made with Takeo's Tanto Kira paper, a jade-toned sheet with a soft, pearl-like sheen that shifts subtly as the light catches it. The color reads as a pale, frosted green, quiet and a little luminous, with the year pressed into the cover in gold foil.
Inside, the layout keeps things simple: a weekly schedule on the left page and open graph paper on the right, so planning and note-taking sit side by side. Each spread also carries a short quote drawn from Hobonichi's own writing, a small habit that gives the week a bit of personality beyond the grid.
The pages are Tomoe River paper, thin enough to keep the whole book slim but sturdy enough to take fountain pen ink without much show-through, and the binding lets it lie open flat at any spot in the year.
