Designed by Yumi Kitagishi, this Hobonichi Techo HON wears a bright red cover printed with two dollhouse scenes, one in soft pink and yellow, the other in blue and yellow, both filled with tiny rooms where a white cat and rabbits go about their day among checkerboard floors, floral trim, and gingham wallpaper.
Inside, the HON format bakes the cover and book into a single hardbound volume, so there is no separate cover to fuss with. Each day gets its own page of fine graph paper, with room to write, sketch, or just jot down what happened, plus monthly and yearly calendar spreads for the wider view.
This is the English edition, printed with bilingual month and day markers and a short quote tucked into the corner of every spread, a small daily surprise as you fill the book in.
