Named for a canto of Os Lusíadas, this candle pairs the green hush of pear blossom with the warmth of cardamom, an easy combination that reads like a spring orchard touched by spice rather than one single straightforward scent.

Essências de Portugal is made by Longlife, a Portuguese company founded in 2017 that turned to local producers across the country, from wood to cork to essences, to put a little of Portugal into every piece. The painted branch of pear blossoms and fruit that wraps the jar carries that same attention to detail, done in the soft, botanical style the brand is known for.
