Designed by Cody Foster & Co, this ornament takes a blood orange and turns it into a small piece of tree decor, with rich red-orange glass dimpled all over to echo the pebbled texture of real citrus peel. A short stem and two green, glitter-dusted leaves sit at the top, giving a fresh green accent against the deep red/orange glass, and a gold cord makes it ready to hang.
The company got its start when its founder began making ornaments while still in high school, with his mother as business partner, and the two have been at it ever since from Valentine, a small town in the Sand Hills region of north-central Nebraska. Almost all of their pieces are still handmade, using honest materials and finishes.
