Little ants carrying a towering birthday cake across a flowery field, this card captures the determined joy of throwing someone a celebration that is bigger than life. It is by JooJoo Paper, whose artist Afsaneh Tajvidi hand-paints each scene in gouache before it is printed in full color with gold foil and neon details that make the candle glow against a soft teal sky. The cake itself is a confection of pale pink frosting, fresh berries, and tiny flowers, carried with obvious pride by three rosy ants who clearly know a good cake deserves a parade. Tuck in a few warm words and send it off to make someone's birthday feel like the occasion it is.
